ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Students need to ensure that they fulfill the eligibility criteria before moving on to the application procedure. Otherwise, their applications will be terminated.
- The students belonging to the General category candidates need to procure a minimum of 60 percent in their secondary school examinations.
- Students from the reserved sections need to attain a minimum of 55 percent in their board examinations.
- All the students should have recognized pass certificates and other formal educational documents verifying their scores.
- The selection process sums up the marks of both the board exams and the entrance exams of the candidate. 65% weightage is on the entrance exam of DU JAT, while 35% is on the marks in class 12 boards.
- Both the qualifying and the marks in the entrance examination are considered. After the cut-offs are announced, the GD/PI is conducted. The marks the applicant obtains at each stage are considered with the qualifying marks, which are then converted to a percentile score.
- Only after the normalization procedure, the final rank list for the candidates is prepared.
- If further seats are available, then second and third cut-off lists will be formulated after the initial phases of admission.
- The question paper type for this exam is MCQ-based.
- The exam paper consists of 100 questions in total. Each question is allotted 3 marks.

- The candidates in their final year of bachelor’s degree can apply to IIM Jammu. For this, they are required to produce a certificate from the head of their current university.
- IIM Jammu’s selection process is 90 percent dependent on the CAT scores of the candidate in the shortlisting phase, and 40% weightage is on the CAT score in the final selection.
- After shortlisting, the candidates have to appear for a personal interview which has a weightage of 30% in the selection process.

- For the MBA in general, entrepreneurship/ family business, and international business specialization, the required eligibility is any bachelor’s degree with 50% marks in aggregate.
- In specialization for executive and tourism travel, eligibility criteria are any bachelor’s degree with 50% marks in aggregate and three years of professional experience is mandatory.
- In the selection process, the students need to score the eligible marks in the JMI Entrance exams, to become eligible for the interview round.
- The selection process is solely based on these two rounds and the graduation scores only help the candidate become eligible for the entrance exam.
- The question paper for the entrance exam will be composed of 100 questions which can either be in MCQ format or theory-based subjective type questions.
- The total duration will be an hour and 45 minutes.
- The question paper will be divided into two parts Part A of 40 marks and Part B of 60 marks.

- After clearing the eligibility criteria, the students will be required to sit for an entrance examination. After submission of the CMAT scores, a merit list will be formulated.
- The shortlisted candidates have to appear for a counseling round. If they qualify for this round, then they can complete their admission procedure and document verification.
- The candidates need to sign up for DAVV CET, the entrance exam arranged by the university, and score eligible marks to make through the list.
- The DAVV is a computer-based online exam that consists of 75 questions. Three marks will be granted for every correct answer, while a single mark will be deducted for every wrong answer
- Each section will have 15 questions. The time duration of this paper is one hour. The entire question paper is in MCQ format.

- Candidates need to have passed 10+2 exams and cleared bachelors degree from a known university with a 50% aggregate.
- The candidates should have computer science as one of their main subjects in graduation.
- The candidates should appear for a state or national level entrance exam for management. They can also appear for CAT/UPESMET/GMAT/XAT/NMAT/CMAT.
- The selection process is dependent on the entrance level examination, group discussion, and personal interview.
- The UPESMET/ National Level Test is conducted first. A group discussion and a personal interview follow the first round. The candidate needs to make it through all of these rounds to get admission
- The exam is for two hours. The paper pattern is in MCQ format, and the total number of questions is 140.
